100% Natural Soy Wax

At the heart of every Gaia candle is pure soy wax, made from a renewable, plant-based crop rather than petroleum. This is the single choice that started it all — and it changes everything about how a candle burns. Soy burns cooler, cleaner, and noticeably slower than paraffin, which means less soot in your air and many more hours of glow in your jar. It releases fragrance gently and evenly, filling a room without overwhelming it. And because it's biodegradable and sustainably sourced, it's as kind to the earth as it is to your lungs. Premium Essential Oils & Phthalate-Free Fragrances

Scent is memory, mood, and homecoming — so we refuse to cut corners on it. Our fragrances are crafted from thoughtfully selected essential oils and premium, phthalate-free fragrance oils. That "phthalate-free" part is quiet but important: phthalates are the hidden chemicals often used to stretch and cheapen a scent, and they're exactly the kind of thing we set out to leave behind. Instead, you get fragrance that is rich, layered, and true — the kind that lingers beautifully long after the flame is out, without a single ingredient you'd want to keep off your shelf.

Natural Wood Wicks

A candle is only as clean as its wick, and this is where a lot of brands quietly fall short. Ours never will. We use natural wood wicks that are completely lead-free and zinc-free — no metal cores, no shortcuts. The result is a steadier, more even flame and a cleaner burn from the first light to the last. Our wood wicks add something extra: a gentle, crackling glow, like a fireplace scaled down to the size of your desk or nightstand. Small detail, big difference — for your air and for the mood.

Clean, Non-Toxic Formulations

Everything comes together in a formulation we can stand behind completely. Gaia candles are paraben-free, sulfate-free, and made without synthetic dyes, needless additives, or preservatives. They are, and always will be, cruelty-free — never tested on animals. This is the promise Gaia was built on: that you should be able to fill your home with light and scent without breathing in anything you wouldn't want there.
